Bughetti is a company that specialises in the design and manufacture of exciting and exceptional quality hand tufted wool rugs and floor coverings. With original design, sculptured and textured finishes, using a wide variety of rich vibrant colours, we offer some of the most individual rugs available today.

Our Service
We offer a fully bespoke service from design advice to the manufacture of the finished product. In addition we also work to commission to produce unique designs based upon the clients’ ideas and individual requirements. The price for our bespoke service starts at £250.00 per square metre plus VAT. All designs will be individually priced.
In addition we also have a large number of original designs that can be tailored in terms of size and colour to suit the clients’ needs.
We can also produce rugs using a mixture of the unusual textures and finishes that are available in our standard range. For instance we can combine the smooth finish of Astro with the sculptured textures of Teddy or Nova, or produce patterned rugs using the shaggy finishes of Twist or Form.
With the use of colour and these finishes the possibilities are endless.
We currently have 80 stock colours available in our collection, however we can match any Pantone colour or any colour samples the client may have.
A sample book containing all our stock colours is available at a cost of £50.00 plus delivery, the cost of which will be deducted from your first order.
We can make rugs of any shape, size or colour. It usually takes 6-8 weeks to make a rug from the time of placing the order. We can offer a quicker service if required, depending on the size of the project, at an extra charge. We offer a free design/consultation visit in London and Home Counties to discuss your project.
The Product
Using traditional methods and techniques all of our rugs are made in our European workshop.
From spinning the wool and dyeing the yarn, to weaving and tufting the rugs, the whole process is performed by a small group of skilled and experienced craftsmen and women.
Our rugs are handmade from the highest quality 100% pure New Zealand wool.
The wool is slow dyed for about two days using natural dyes and colours. This slow process ensures that the wool remains soft and elastic while at the same time achieving a greater depth and evenness of colour.
We do not bleach our wool. In our colour collection all whites are simply natural wool.
Our rugs are finished with a non-slip latex backing and also comply with the European fire regulations which make them suitable for use in both commercial and domestic areas.
